In a time when commercial country music has taken the radio hostage, Allen Duhon bursts on the scene, lyrics blazin', to save traditional country music enthusiasts with his smooth voice and timeless country swagger. Duhon is a young gun with an old soul and has far more than just whiskey running through his veins... Country music is in his blood.
Groomed by his father and tested by the road, Allen was touring Texas, Louisiana, and everywhere in between by the humble age of 18. Born and bred in the same neck of the woods as country legends Tracy Byrd and Mark Chesnutt, Allen now prefers to call the stage "home." Allen earned his spurs by opening for such classic artists as Gene Watson and John Anderson. At 21, Allen took his talents to Nashville where he quickly became a local favorite at the infamous Tootsie's Orchid Lounge. Before long, Allen's career gained traction and he found himself on the road alongside country music star Tracy Lawrence. After the dust settled following a year on tour, Allen returned to Nashville to perfect his self titled debut album. With singles like "Wait 'Til I Get You Home" and "Jesus, Jack Daniels, and You" Allen's next stop is the top of the country music Billboard charts. Until then you can catch Allen at local favorites like Houston's Blanco's Bar & headlining Nashville's live country music scene.
